My best project is the one I haven't built yet.
Most universities bring together an academic lead, a business lead and a marketing lead, then ask them to agree. I have been all three: for almost twenty years, from Italy to the Americas, I’ve founded schools, designed, managed and taught transnational degrees, and grown and marketed them. That is why I can speak each one’s language, sit between partners and make the whole thing work.
Today I advise on transnational education partnerships, develop frameworks for global learning, and write University Ecosystems, a newsletter on the future of the university.

I launched my newsletter and its manifesto: seven principles for a future university built by alliances.
I started researching and publishing my own frameworks, beginning with the Sustainable Global Learning Ecosystem.

One of Italy’s oldest cultural foundations, active since 1896, bringing education, the arts and community life together under one roof.
Handover of UWS Music Italy to Antonello, my former student. The partnership kept running and growing without me.

One of Italy’s leading business schools, training global leaders to manage companies around the world.
Teaching at the University of the West of Scotland, the partner behind our degrees in Italy.

A private college of higher education “without borders”, with centers in London, Rome, Milan, Florence and Madrid.
The first UK-accredited music master’s programs in Italy, supported by 21 schools and chosen by thousands of students over the years.

By building a partnership with the University of the West of Scotland, I gave Italy its first UK master’s in Music & Creative Economy.

A UK music degree, designed and taught in Rome, so students no longer had to leave Italy to earn one.
My first venture: a school that helped Italian musicians turn their talent into a career.

Planning a partnership, applying one of the frameworks, or building something worth a Conversation? I'd be glad to hear from you.
